During our long time as a real estate agent in Frankfurt am Main, we have supported many older people with their property in their old age. Below we have two examples of how Lang Immobilien was able to successfully help.
A few years ago an older gentleman came to us. He lived in a senior residence for people aged 50 and over in a large apartment. He bought it with his wife and lived in it with her. However, after she died, the apartment became too big for him and he wanted to sell it and move into a smaller apartment.
Before he finally came to us, he had already hired another agent, who had been trying to sell the apartment for nine months without success. So things should now go faster with us. The first thing we did was carry out a property valuation, only to discover that the previous agent had done a clean job. We came to the same conclusion – so it wasn’t the price.
In the next step, we carried out a comprehensive home staging and started the application. It only took three weeks until we found a suitable buyer and were able to complete the sale for a better price. The buyer even came from the same facility and was looking for a larger apartment.
